An original Edwardian Ruby ring set in rose gold

HALLMARKS

Not Hallmarked but tested at least 9ct

MEASUREMENTS

Ruby measures 7.5 x 10mm. There is no surface dulling or scratches held nicely in a 12 prong setting.
The ruby weighs in the region of 2.3cts
I have not had this yet removed from setting to be tested for heat but this tests as a natural stone with no indication of heat (in situ). A small possability this could be a colour change sapphire (even better) but Ruby most likely

CONDITION

Good condition, minimal signs commensurate of age. A beautiful and sought after traditional design. Not a reproduction.
