An extremely rare piece. The ring is set in 18ct yellow gold and platinum (the hallmark is unreadable, hence tested as such).
The is a genuine Art Deco period piece. Set within the superb ring sits 14 fine natural and tested very large old cut diamonds.
These diamonds measures between approximately 1mm-4mm each, they are very chunky stones.
These are lovely bright white diamonds, with superb clarity.
They are flawless to the naked eye, though the clarity varies from VS- Si3 and J-L colour.
Total diamond content is very hard to measure to the the old cut, and each diamonds completely individual nature. The 2 larger diamonds are estimated at 15 and 20 points each, 4 at 13 points each, 2 at 10 points each and 6 at 1 point each, hence a total diamond weight of 1.13 carats
There is lovely Art Deco detail to the underside of the mount surrounding the diamonds. The diamonds are held in Platinum. Of note, 3 of the diamonds have a very small nibble to them, two to the surface of the table, and one to the side. This really is only noticeable when using a loop, and does not detract whatsoever from the enormous rarity of this ring.
The total ring head diameter is 12mm x 12mm.
Ring size GB R US 8 3/4. This can easily be resized by any high street jeweller, or by ourselves.
The ring weighs 4.7 grams.
