A 1950s fine quality 18ct white gold old transitional and baguette cut diamond brooch
This is a very important piece and an extraordinary fine piece
Hallmarked indistinctly with the eagles head on the pin.
Encrusted diamonds; The diamonds measure between 0.03ct and 0.65ct in situ
The central transitional cut diamond measures 0.65ct
Surrouding large baguette cut diamond 0.35ct each
The diamond quality VS1-Si2 clarity. The diamonds are very white and bright in colour estimated H-J, evenly matched
In situ diamond content is estimated at 10.25ct, I would however give or take a carat. I have measured most 0.10ct stones up at 0.07ct to try and be conservative. The majority of the stones are large
All diamonds tested as natural
Brooch diameter; 64 x 34mm
This is a statement one off brooch of superior quality- once in a lifetime purchase!
In perfect working order and of absolutely fantastic quality. The pin and mechanism are perfect. A rare find. Likely designer piece
